OUR WORK
OUR WORK
Our focus is on capturing textile-related knowledge in a structured and accessible way. Through visual observation, brief written records and basic classification, we retain information that would otherwise be lost through everyday handling. Our documentation aims to provide a clearer understanding of textile objects, their context and their characteristics, particularly where other records are missing or informal.
We believe that sharing basic knowledge can encourage more thoughtful and informed engagement. Our work involves explaining terms, providing context and creating accessible training and informational materials. By doing this, we hope to reduce confusion and promote clearer communication, particularly in areas where technical language or commercial framing often creates barriers.
We contribute to the identification and understanding of textile-related objects by carrying out structured observations and classifications. By applying consistent criteria and comparative references, we facilitate the interpretation of form, technique and context. This work helps to create clarity in areas where definitions are often informal or absent.
Textile-related questions often arise in settings where formal support is limited. Through independent guidance rooted in observation and expertise, the aim is to offer orientation in matters of handling, identification and presentation. The goal is to assist where questions come up and offer support that is practical, approachable and grounded in experience.
